Everything begins and ends with Him.

We exist to love, follow, and exalt Jesus in all we do.

WORSHIP IS
OUR RESPONSE

We live to honor Jesus.

Our worship is Christ-centered — it flows from who He is, what He has done, and how He continues to transform our lives each day.

Our Story

Our story begins with a sending heart.

First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, NC has long believed that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not meant to stop with one congregation or one community. From its earliest days, FBC Indian Trail has carried a deep conviction that faithfulness to the Great Commission means more than gathering; it means going. More than building, it means sending. More than growing a church, it means multiplying the Church.

As the leadership of Indian Trail prayed and sought the Lord’s direction, that conviction was shepherded by the heart of their senior pastor, Dr. Mike Whitson. Along with the church’s leadership, Dr. Whitson helped cultivate a vision that looked beyond the walls of their own campus toward communities still in need of a strong gospel witness. Through prayerful discernment, the Lord began to place a specific burden on their hearts for the coast of southeastern North Carolina, particularly Sunset Beach.
